People from all over the U.S. are attended the 2007 National Department Of Peace Conference in Washington, D.C. Feb. 3-5, 2007 to learn the latest, be trained and take to the Halls of Congress to lobby our Congressional Representatives as
The Dept. of Peace Bill was being re-introduced; HR # 808. Over 200 meetings with Representatives and Senators were scheduled by our citizen lobbyists to support the Department of Peace legislation.

YOU CAN MAKE A HUGE DIFFERNCE &
SUPPORT WAGING-PEACE BY

Phoning your Senators and your Member of the House of Representatives.
Tell the staffer who answers your call that you want your Representative to sign on as a co-sponsor of the Department of Peace legislation (Bill # HR 808). Request a written response explaining your member's position and the reasoning behind it. (You can call your local office as well.) It is most effective if you call the D.C. office first, then follow-up with a fax or email.
